No... she tried.
I applied at a restaurant with a few locations in the area... but didn't go back for a second interview after learning they split tips.
I'm going to keep applying though, I think I'm ready to get out of the 'family business.'
And to be honest, I'd really like to work up to bartending.
Advice? Stories?

ReplyDeleteI don't know how to give an opinion as I have only worked in family owned restaurants [4] and really liked those. I didn't realize that corporate were as bad as they were until I started reading blogs and with the exception of Hooters [Sauce's blog] they mostly seem horrible.
I wish you luck and am sure with you experience you'll do great wherever you end up.
